JRWS Launch Event

The Journal of Right-Wing Studies launched on Friday, September 30, 2022!

Watch the Journal Launch & Round-Table Discussion
on the State of the Field here.

The Journal of Right-Wing Studies (JRWS), an academic journal operated by UC Berkeley’s Center for Right-Wing Studies (CRWS), is officially launched! The journal hosted a roundtable discussion on the state of Right-Wing Studies, complementing a print roundtable discussion, which will be released in December 2022, ahead of its first issue. Distinguished speakers included Troy Duster (UC Berkeley), Terri Givens (McGill), Ângela Figueiredo (Federal do Recôncavo da Bahia), Daniel HoSang (Yale), and Carole Joffe (UC San Francisco). The event was hosted by JRWS Editor-in-Chief and Chair of CRWS Lawrence Rosenthal and JRWS Managing Editor Eliah Bures. Speakers briefly presented their expert opinions, followed by a Q&A and lively discussion.

Please stay tuned for more events and the print release of the round-table.

This event is free and open to the public. If you require an accommodation for effective communication (ASL interpreting/CART captioning, alternative media formats, etc.) in order to fully participate in this virtual event, please contact crws@berkeley.edu with as much advance notice as possible and at least 7-10 days in advance of the event.
